    Staying at Rydal

    Rydal Hall is a Grade II listed historic house parts of which date back to the 1600's. It has a total of 30 bedrooms with a capacity of 56 bed spaces. Many of the rooms are ensuite and are booked on a first come first served basis at no extra charge. Accommodation can be booked on a full or half board or B&B basis with all our food freshly prepared on site using local and seasonal produce where possible.  With gorgeous two course lunches and three course dinners, we have no doubts your waistline as well as your spirit will leave refreshed! Within Rydal Hall there is a Chapel, Library, Licensed Bar, Drying Room for wet clothing and a number of fine, well-appointed meeting rooms suitable for many kinds of events. The Hall has been adapted for guests with disabilities within the limitations of an ancient building but we do recommend you call for further information regarding access before booking if needed.

    The Stable Holiday Cottage
    The Stable Holiday CottageA self-catering holiday cottage suitable for 2-4 people situated in a beautiful location by Rydal Falls.  All rooms are at ground-floor level with non-smoking throughout and parking.  Inside there is a warm and welcoming sitting/dining room with wood-burning stove, kitchen with dishwasher and fridge/freezer, bathroom and two comfortable bedrooms – one double and one twin.  There is also a small secure side garden.  Small well behaved dogs welcome at an additional cost. 

    £400 peak period (1 April-31 Oct, plus Christmas and New Year)
    £300 off-peak (1 Nov – 31 Mar, excl Christmas and New Year)
    Minimum deposit of £100 per week required for confirmation of booking
    Please note all lets are Saturday – Saturday

    Charge for logs for stove; £5 per basket.  Charge for dogs to cover additional cleaning; £10 per dog per week.

    The Bunk House
    ABunkhouse completely self-contained Bunkhouse ideal for school or activity groups. Facilities include its own kitchen, bathroom/shower facilities, common room – with wood burning stove – and sleeping accommodation for 36 comprising of two dormitories (18 and 14) and two additional twin bunk rooms. 

    £285 peak period (1 April-31 Oct, plus Christmas and New Year)
    £190 off-peak (1 Nov – 31 Mar, excl Christmas and New Year)
    10% discount for youth groups and midweek bookings.

    Campsite
    CampsiteSet in the woodland surrounding Rydal Hall our campsite – awarded special conservation status – is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Lake District. Our spectacular location makes this area ideal for those looking for a real ‘Swallows and Amazons’ summer holiday.  Facilities include a campfire, Adventure Playground, clearly marked walking tracks, waterfall & beck as well as appropriate bathroom and laundry facilities. Our campsite has always worked with friendly co-operation and by trusting campers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and respect for the local environment. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate camper vans or caravans.

    Cars are charged at £3 per night.  Maximum total cost for carparking £6.

    Eco Pods Camping Pod
    We now have three Eco Pods on site.  These insulated wooden huts are a great alternative to camping under canvas. Made from sustainable materials and fully carpeted with a small covered porch area, the small Pods will comfortably sleep 2 adults and 1 small child whilst the larger Pod will sleep 4 adults or a family group.

    £30 per night (Single night bookings are not taken over weekends)
