In this gentle, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to shape and assemble snowdrop flowers using high-quality crepe paper, guided step-by-step through the process by professional artist Pui Lee. Alongside making, we’ll explore the cultural and seasonal symbolism of the snowdrop and its significance as one of the first flowers to appear at the threshold between winter and spring.
Participants will create several paper snowdrops, which will be arranged into a small plant pot to take home — a thoughtful springtime decoration or lasting keepsake. The session is designed to be calm, reflective, and accessible, making it ideal for anyone looking to reconnect with creativity and nature in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Artist Bio:
Pui Lee is a freelance visual artist based in Gateshead who works in both 2D and 3D artforms using traditional and contemporary methods to create meaningful and beautiful outcomes. Pui Lee is also a regular artist-educator designing and delivering bespoke creative workshops and projects in the community throughout the North of England, including at the renown Yorkshire Sculpture Park. She has exhibited and sold work both nationally and internationally.
