Rydal Hall Bunk House
The Bunkhouse is situated in the centre or Rydal Hall estate providing an excellent base for groups of all ages. Sheltered on three sides by the Fairfield Horseshoe, Rydal enjoys outstanding views towards Windermere and offers access to the best of Lakeland’s activities.
The historic building was being used in the mid 1500’s by the Le Fleming family. Facilities inside are designed to provide the necessities for groups of up to 36 people, consisting of two large dormitories sleeping 14 and 18 respectively in bunk beds and two seperate rooms each sleeping two. Guests will be required to bring their own sleeping bags and pillow cases. There is a large common room which can be used as a dining area or recreation area as the furniture is mobile and open to your own interpretation. A welcoming log burner provides additional warmth to the ample heating powered by our nearby water turbine. The kitchen is fully furnished for cooking en masse and there are two separate toilet facilities both with simple and efficient showers. Coin operated laundry and drying facilities are also available on site.
