A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere is ready to greet you
Rydal Hall resides in 34 acres of stunning parkland in the heart of the English Lake District. The main house is a Grade II listed historic house with some parts dating back to the 1600s.
All rooms now ensuite
All 30 of our rooms have been upgraded to provide comfortable ensuite or private facilities and offer a choice of full, half board or B&B. All food is freshly prepared in our kitchen using local and seasonal produce wherever possible. With delicious two course lunches and three course dinners, your waistline as well as your spirits will leave refreshed!
A home from home
While staying at Rydal Hall you can explore the beautiful Lake District surroundings, or simply enjoy the peace and quite right here. We have a Chapel, areas for quiet contemplation, licensed bar and drying room for wet clothing. The building has been adapted for guests with disabilities. However an old listed building does present some challenges – please call us to discuss your special needs.
Perfect for conferences, events and weddings
We have a number of meeting rooms suitable for many kinds of events. Our informal and relaxed atmosphere lends itself to conferences, and house-party style group events. We regularly host events for artists, walkers and spiritual retreats. Contact us to discuss your event needs. For more details click here.
