Camping - Information
Set in the woodland surrounding Rydal Hall, are a number of camp sites. These are serviced by a water supply and two toilet blocks with hot & cold water and showers, & one with washing up facilities. Electric hook-ups are available on one of the group sites for fridges and freezers. A coin operated laundry & drying facility is also available. There is an exciting adventure playground for youngsters.There are four sizes of campsite: for large groups, small groups, families and back-packers respectively. These cater for individuals, families, organisations, clubs, church groups, school groups, D of E expeditions, scouts & guides, etc who book their camp site in advance. Open all year.
We especially encourage families and groups of families to take advantage of our site. Our spectacular location makes this the ideal place for a young adventurous family looking for a real ‘Swallows and Amazon’ summer holiday.
Our campsite has always worked with friendly co-operation and by trusting campers to maintain high standards of cleanliness. We don’t impose many rules, but we do rely on everyone following certain guidelines to maintain our atmosphere of peace and security.
