We welcome Conference Groups (for both Residential and Day events) and also Private Guests to stay in the Hall.
Rydal Hall offers a warm and friendly home from home in the heart of the English Lake District. There is a choice of 30 ensuite bedrooms inside the main house plus a range of accommodation within our idyllic 34 acre site including a youth centre, campsite, a cottage, and three eco-pods.
Rydal Hall is owned and operated by the Diocese of Carlisle. Our main aim is to promote and support the Christian Faith through conferences, events and retreats in and beyond the Diocese. We have a distinctively Christian ethos which underpins the provision of excellent service and hospitality to all, and in our relationships with our partners, the local community and suppliers.
We warmly welcome other groups and individuals to use and enjoy Rydal Hall, its gardens and tea shop. This helps us to become self-financing and allows us to share our Christian ethos and beautiful surroundings with a wider audience. We welcome conference guests, families, youth groups, couples – in short anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in one of the UK’s finest beauty spots.

Many groups return year after year and it is our pleasure to welcome familiar and new faces. We provide a relaxed and comfortable venue for your Church Family to spend time together in the stunning setting of the Lake District. With 30 ensuite or private facility bedrooms together with a range of meeting rooms we are able to accommodate all age groups in single, twin and family bedrooms. | Although we have bookings for most weekends during 2014 and many weekends are already booked for 2013, we still have availability for the whole Hall on the following weekend in 2013:
